Fire is one of the biggest safety risks a business has to deal with and as always it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure staff are trained in the fire precautions procedure. Without fire safety training many insurers will not cover you in the event of a fire. This would leave you, your staff, and your business very vulnerable.
We can provide a choice of fire safety training courses, bespoke to your individual needs, which are designed in conjunction with our customers’ covering the fire safety issues relevant to their situation.
Basic Fire Safety Course
This course offers a brief introduction to fire safety, with an overview of the equipment and fire safety procedure relevant to your business. We can also offer an optional live practical using extinguishers on a live fire.
- Fire Triangle and classification of fires.
- Your site evacuation procedure.
- Types of extinguishers and how they should be operated.
- This course is suitable for up to 15 people.
- Each person in attendance will receive a certificate.
- 1 hour duration.
Fire Marshal Training
This course covers everything you would need to know about the role of a fire marshal and can look closely at the responsibilities a fire marshal would have in your specific situation.
- Fire Triangle and classification of fires.
- Your site evacuation procedure.
- Types of extinguisher and how to operate them.
- DVD of extinguisher in use and the fire marshal role.
- Practical demonstration
- Questionnaire
- Suitable for up to 15 people.
- Each person receives a certificate.
- 2 hour duration.
Online Fire Safety Training
We offer an online version of our fire safety training which covers basic fire awareness and is regularly updated to comply with legislation changes and amendments suggests by the fire brigade.
- Our course is endorsed by the fire brigade
- Each delegate receives a printable certificate.
- Bulk logins for large numbers of staff are also available.
